Outstanding Professional Service Award
The NSW Professional Teachers Council acknowledges the
outstanding professional service that committee members undertake on a
voluntary basis for ACHPER NSW at the annual presentation
evening held in December.

Nadene Kennedy
Nadene is an exceptional leader on the
ACHPER board and is always keen to explore new initiatives that will meet the
needs of our members. Since moving into the role of Treasurer, Nadene has
played a key role in managing the development of processes to ensure the
financial sustainability of the organisation.
Nadene
was one of the co-developers and presenters of the Leadership workshops which
have been running successfully for the last two years. Nadene’s foresight in
identifying the need for these workshops for aspiring Head Teachers highlights
her understanding of the needs of our membership and the PDHPE profession.
Nadene was also instrumental in the design and delivery of the Stage 6
amendments workshops to support teachers to review their programs in light of the
changes to the HSC that were implemented in 2010. (extract from Nadene's citation)
