| Dance workshop for PDHPE teachers |
This a one day workshop for teachers of Stage 4/5 PDHPE. Participants will be provided with practical ideas about how to improve their teaching of dance in PDHPE. Professional development opportunitiesACHPER NSW is seeking expressions of interest from teachers who may like to present sessions at the 2008 PDHPE HSC Enrichment Days. Presenters are provided with all materials and presentations for their session. The writers of the presentations will walk all presenters through the content of their presentations to ensure they feel comfortable with the content and activities that they have to deliver. If you are interested in registering an Expression of Interest, please complete the Expression of Interest form and fax or mail it back to the ACHPER office.

Presenters are provided with all materials and presentations for their session. PDHPE Leadership Conference If you are an aspiring PDHPE Head Teacher or Coordinator. This confernce is for you. The workshop sessions provide practical strategies on writing an effective application, what to do once you get to interview and tips for making the most of your interview oportunities. If you are interested in attending, contact the ACHPER NSW office on 02 9572 8602.
Early Career Teachers' Online Mentoring Project ACHPER NSW (in partnership with the NSW PDHPETA and University of Wollongong) are taking expressions of interest from experienced PDHPE teachers considering being involved in the Online Mentoring Program in 2008.
This is the second stage of the project "From Surviving to Thriving" which is a professional learning initiative for early career teachers of PDHPE. An online mentoring program utilising the BEST-PDHPE website at Wollongong Uni. Once a week online chat with your mentee (a first, second or third year PDHPE teacher from another school) Training day to be held at Wollongong University on Friday 16th May (relief provided)
