This workshop has been developed on the Board Developed Child Studies syllabus. The purpose of the course is to increase participant understanding and knowledge of the structure and content of the syllabus.

The program of the day will provide participants with opportunities to investigate issues such as:
• Background information about why the Child Studies syllabus was developed
• Unpacking the syllabus
– Structure of the syllabus explained
– Content of each of the 15 modules explored
• Example programs and assessment tasks provided
• Suggested resources provided
• Creation of quality units of work and authentic assessment tasks
