This workshop is designed specifically for PDHPE Heads of Department to support them in facilitating curriculum change with their faculties. The workshop includes the following sessions:
- Understanding your team and the skills sets
- Mapping curriculum tasks and team’s skills sets
- Planning for quality learning programs
- Evaluating the quality of learning programs
- Building the capacity of your team through PL and professional conversations.
The sessions will be hands-on and interactive so participants will be expected to bring learning programs and units they can work directly with throughout the day. Participants will also need to complete a 360 degree self assessment prior to the day which would take approximately 20-30 minutes.

7.2.2 Understand the implications of and comply with relevant legislative, administrative, organisational and professional requirements, policies and processes.
Completing Curriculum Leadership on 6 March 2020 will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing standard descriptors from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
