September 15 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm AEST

Assessment can be challenging for teachers. Often the processes we implement take time and information collected may not provide the critical student insights you need.
This one-day workshop provides you with practical strategies and efficient processes to collect reliable and consistent assessment evidence for planning and reporting in PDHPE.
Examining theory and practical outcomes and content, you’ll explore how to design effective learning intentions and success criteria to drive assessment, feedback and evidence of learning collection.
Workshop sessions include:
Session 1:
– A-E grading within the context of PDHPE
– Unpacking outcomes and student achievement in each Stage
Session 2:
– Practical strategies for assessing in PDHPE
– Assessment and reporting planning processes
Session 3:
– Efficient and reliable evidence of learning collection
– Effective feedback
– Making consistent judgments.
You will also revise a unit of work, to identify explicit opportunities within the learning sequence to collect evidence of learning and provide feedback to students.
