Improving Student Performance in CAFS

This workshop will support teachers to unlock some of the secrets to improving students performance in Stage 6 CAFS.
The sessions will look at the marking and judging process, mastering multiple choice questions, providing quality feedback and understanding quality responses.
Who should attend: Experienced Stage 6 PDHPE teachers who have been teaching the Stage 6 course for a number of years.
Professional Teaching Standards::
- 2.2.2 Organise content into coherent, well-sequenced learning and teaching programs.
- 5.2.2 Provide timely, effective and appropriate feedback to students about their achievement relative to their learning goals
- 5.3.2 Understand and participate in assessment moderation activities to support consistent and comparable judgements of student learning
- 6.2.2 Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice, targeted to professional needs and school and/or system priorities.
Completing Improving Student Performance in CAFS on 27 October 2020 will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing standard descriptors from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
