Improving Student Performance in CAFS

This workshop will support teachers to unlock some of the secrets to improving students performance in Stage 6 CAFS.
The sessions will look at the marking and judging process, mastering multiple choice questions, providing quality feedback and understanding quality responses.
Who should attend: Experienced Stage 6 PDHPE teachers who have been teaching the Stage 6 course for a number of years.
2.2.2 Organise content into coherent, well-sequenced learning and teaching programs.
5.2.2 Provide timely, effective and appropriate feedback to students about their achievement relative to their learning goals
5.3.2 Understand and participate in assessment moderation activities to support consistent and comparable judgements of student learning
6.2.2 Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice, targeted to professional needs and school and/or system priorities.
Completing Stage 6 Conference workshops in May 2020 will contribute up to 10 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing standard descriptors from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
