K-6 Physical Activity and Sport Conference – Wollongong

$250 – $350(ACHPER NSW in conjunction with School Sports Unit will pay relief for 1 teacher per school attending the conference)
Venue: WIN Stadium, Wollongong
This conference will support educators in the primary setting to assist in the implementation of the new K-10 PDHPE Syllabus in their environment. The conference will also provide workshops around physical activity, sport and PDHPE. Attend this conference to receive programs developed for the new syllabus and support in implementation within your school.

Please choose four workshops in preference order from the link below. You will attend 3 workshops.
Completing the K-6 Conference on 18th November 2019 will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing standard descriptors from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
1.2.2 Structure teaching programs using research and collegial advice about how students learn.
2.1.2 Apply knowledge of the content and teaching strategies of the teaching area to develop engaging teaching activities.
6.2.2 Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice targeted to professional needs and school and/or system priorities.
6.3.2 Contribute to collegial discussions and apply constructive feedback from colleagues to improve professional knowledge and practice.
