K-6 Programming in PDHPE – Full day video conference
August 12 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm AEST$363
ACHPER NSW is proud to present K-6 focused programming workshops to support primary teachers to plan for and implement the new K-10 PDHPE syllabus.
The Programming workshops provide participants with steps for developing their scope and sequences and PDHPE units of work for implementation in 2020.
The workshop sessions are highly interactive and will step participants through the evidence-based programming process. By the end of the workshop participants will have developed a draft scope and sequence for a Stage and an evidence-based unit framework with formative assessment activities.
The sessions will cover the following:
- Evidence-based programming decisions
- Translating student needs into units of work
- Developing a scope and sequence
- Creating relevant and engaging units of work
- Where to from here?
Spaces in each workshop are limited so register early to avoid disappointment.
The workshop sessions are highly interactive and will step participants through the evidence-based programming process. By the end of the workshop participants will have reviewed their scope and sequence for PDHPE and have scaffolded an evidence-based unit of work with formative assessment activities.
Completing Programming the K-10 PDHPE syllabus on 12 August 2020 will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing standard descriptors from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
