September 1, 2020 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm AEST
An event every week that begins at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating until September 1, 2020
ACHPER NSW is proud to present K-6 focused programming webinars to support primary teachers to plan for and implement the new K-10 PDHPE syllabus.
The Programming webinars provide participants with steps for developing their scope and sequences and PDHPE units of work for implementation in 2020.
Workshop overview
The webinar sessions are highly interactive and will step participants through the evidence-based programming process. By the end of the webinars participants will have reviewed their scope and sequence for PDHPE and scaffolded an evidence-based unit framework with formative assessment activities.
The sessions will cover the following:
- Evidence-based programming decisions
- Translating student needs into units of work
- Developing a scope and sequence
- Creating relevant and engaging units of work
- Where to from here?
Spaces in the webinar series are limited so register early to avoid disappointment.
Completing Programming the K-10 PDHPE syllabus webinars in Term 3 2020 will contribute 6 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing standard descriptors from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
