Masterclass #1 2025:
This workshop equips PDHPE teachers with the skills to effectively teach health promotion across Stages 4-6. Through engaging activities and real-world case studies, you’ll learn to empower students to make informed health choices and understand the broader impact of health on individuals and communities. Discover how government initiatives like “Good for Kids, Good for Life” are transforming school health programs.
PRESENTERS
Dr. Emma Pollock, a former PDHPE teacher and physical activity researcher, and Ms. Karly Austin, a dedicated dietician and master’s student, share a passion for improving youth health through the Good for Kids, Good for Life program. Together, they support schools in promoting physical activity and healthy eating, aligning with the NSW Ministry of Health’s Healthy Eating Active Living strategy.
