Physical Activity And Sports Studies (PASS)

Venue: Teachers Federation Building, Surry Hills

A one-day professional learning workshop to examine the elements involved in teaching PASS including programming, creating assessment tasks and practical experience options in line with the new syllabus.

As a result of participating in this workshop, participants will be:

• Able to deconstruct the new PASS syllabus
• Confident in creating assessment tasks for the PASS course
• Able to program and structure PASS scope and sequence
• Delegates will begin developing programs, assessment ideas and collating resources for the new PASS syllabus

Completing the PASS workshop on 17 February 2020 will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing standard descriptors from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
