SUMMARY:Teaching Stage 6 PDHPE for the 1st Time
DESCRIPTION:Venue: Sydney CBD \nThis workshop will meet the needs of any teacher who are yet to teach the Stage 6 course. This workshop will unpack the syllabus\, address teacher concerns around programming\, resources and assessment. You will walk away with information and skills to be able to design and deliver the Stage 6 PDHPE course. \nThe Workshop Program:\nW h e r e  t o  b e g i n \nU n p a c k i n g  t h e  S y l l a b u s \nA s s e s s m e n t \nM a r k i n g \nRe s o u r c i n g \nS e t t i n g  y o u r s t u d e n t s  u p  f o r  s u c c e s s \n  \nWho should attend: designed for teachers who: \n\nCurrently teaching Stage 6 PDHPE for the first time\nTeaching Stage 6 PDHPE in 2018/19 for the first time\nHope to teach Stage 6 PDHPE in the near future for the first time\n\nProfessional Teaching Standards \n1.5.2 Develop teaching activities that incorporate differentiated strategies to meet the specific learning needs of students across the full range of abilities.\n2.2.2 Organise content into coherent\, well-sequenced learning and teaching programs.\n2.3.2 Design and implement learning and teaching programs using knowledge of curriculum\, assessment and reporting requirements.\n3.2.2 Plan and implement well-structured learning and teaching programs or lesson sequences that engage students and promote learning \n \n  \nCompleting Teaching Stage 6 PDHPE for the 1st Time on Thursday 13th February 2020 will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing standard descriptors from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW. \n\n
