DESCRIPTION:Venue: Australian College of Physical Education\n10 Parkview Dr\, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127 \nThe ACHPER NSW 7-10 PDHPE conference is an exciting opportunity for PDHPE teachers to connect\, collaborate and upskill. Each session has been designed by teachers for teachers to specifically assist in further developing knowledge and understanding of the 7 – 10 syllabus. With no other conference on offer that targets Stage 4 and Stage 5 PDHPE\, this is one event you don’t want to miss. \n  \nPlease choose five workshops in preference order\, when registering\, from the workshops listed below.  You will attend 4 workshops at the conference as well as the Keynote. Please click on the Workshop synopsis button below the workshop list to gain further details about each workshop. \n\n\n\nWorkshops Offered\n\n\nModelling a critical inquiry approach to personal safety online\n\n\nGet Hyped with HyperDocs!\n\n\nEmbedding a focus on educative outcomes to value movement\n\n\nUsing a strengths-based approach to engage all students in physical activity.\n\n\n21st Century learning skills in practical settings (Stage 4 and/or 5)\n\n\nWriting in PDHPE\n\n\nExploring the value of movement\, physical activity and physical literacy in Stage 4\n\n\nThe Grammar of Games in Action\n\n\nThe Grammar of Games Concepts – Exploring the interaction in ‘Voluntary Run T-Ball’\n\n\nSchool based assessment for awarding RoSA grades\n\n\nDuty of care obligations in relation to Social Media.\n\n\nAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures in PDHPE\n\n\n\nWorkshop synopsis\n  \nFor organisations wanting to be involved in the conference\, please see what is on offer in the Supporter Info Pack below: \nSUPPORTER INFORMATION PACKAGE 2020 \n  \nStandards: \n\n1.5.2 Develop teaching activities that incorporate differentiated strategies to meet the specific learning needs of students across the full range of abilities.\n6.2.2 Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice targeted to professional needs and school and/or system priorities.\n6.3.2 Contribute to collegial discussions and apply constructive feedback from colleagues to improve professional knowledge and practice.\n6.4.2 Undertake professional learning programs designed to address identified student learning needs.\n\n \n  \nCompleting the 7-10 Conference on 26 February 2020 will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing standard descriptors from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW. \n
