ACHPER NSW is proud to continue presenting the second phase of workshops to support teachers to plan for and implement the K-10 PDHPE syllabus.
The Programming the K-10 PDHPE syllabus workshops provide participants with the next steps for developing their new scope and sequences and PDHPE units of work ready for implementation in 2019 (Years 7 & 9 required, K-6 optional) and 2020 (K-10).
Workshop overview
The workshop sessions are highly interactive and will step participants through the evidence-based programming process. By the end of the workshop participants will have developed a draft scope and sequence for a Stage and an evidence-based unit of work with formative assessment activities.
The sessions will cover the following:
- Evidence-based programming decisions
- Translating student needs into units of work
- Developing a scope and sequence
- Creating relevant and engaging units of work
- Where to from here?
Spaces in each workshop are limited so register early to avoid disappointment.
