After the Aspiring Leaders Workshop, I compiled my CV and received an interview for the HT PDHPE job at Albion Park High, which is where I was already temporarily filling in. I was successful and have officially been the HT since the start of Term 4 last year.

Andrea Francis

PDHPE teacher / Junee High School

After attending the Aspiring Leaders WorkshopI have applied for one HT PDHPE position (Murray HS, Albury), which I was successful in gaining an interview (woohoo- stoked as it was my first time applying..!). I did not get the position as it went to a local, more experienced teacher. However, I received great feedback in regards to my CV and interview skills, and was not too disappointed to be beaten by a better teacher. I felt that the knowledge I gained from the workshop last year was awesome, and definitely helped me to gain an interview and feel confident in the interview process.

PDHPE Teacher / St John's Park High

I have been in the relieving Head Teacher position twice since the Aspiring Leaders workshop. I am gaining experience and updating my CV with the goal of applying for permanent positions next year. I found the workshop very helpful for helping identify what areas I need to develop in order to be able to apply for a leadership role. I am also more confident in addressing the selection criteria due to the workshop.
